Day 4 That’s a wrap. Seriously. On principal photography for “Pose.” Film’s in the Lab, going to transfer it next week. And then there’s a long, editing road ahead. As soon as I get good photos sent to me by people that were taking pictures, I’ll put them up on the site.

Day 2
Yesterday was amazing. I had a blast seeing that crazy cabin idea actually come to life. Thanks to everyone that came out (Which reminds me: an in-progress full crew list will be up on the crew page soon).
A special thanks to the wonderful folks over at the Pine Crest Retreat. It’s a really slick vintage trailer park full of tons of beautiful old trailers. They were kind enough to let us shoot there and only asked us to spread the word.
The photo above is by the amazing LA photograper Rebecca Peloquin. Chek her out.
Our next day of shooting is Wednesday. Until then, enjoying the days off.

Shooting in Topanga Canyon. Met some nice rangers that really loved their ranger uniforms.

Shooting of the second and final major part of Pose starts tomorrow (today!). Which also means the end of these lame stock images, to be replaced by awesome shots of my super talented friends and colleagues doing their thing.
Thanks for all the support so far. Tell your friends: http://posethemovie.com/donations.html
I can’t wait to shoot on a bolex again.

2 years agoAnd We’re back!
The Pose crew has dragged ourselves to Los Angeles for a week of shooting in the beautiful Southern California landscapes, and we still need your help!
We are looking for trucks, food, and scenic land that we can shoot on within a few hours drive of LA.
Please spread the word….

Trailer Music
In case you were wondering, the music in the trailer is Kentucky Nightmare by the now defunct LA area band The Archbishops. They have since broken up into a number of other bands all over the place, including Yabtkoczniki and Tigon. All three feature the guitar wizardry of Doc Miller, who composed the score for my intermediate-level film at NYU, The Night Doorman.
Posted a teaser trailer. Check it out: www.posethemovie.com (you might have to hit refresh for the new front page to show up)
Phase 1 of shooting finished last month and it’s been kind of hectic since. After letting the project sit for a few weeks, the cogs are finally turning again - we’re getting ready to shoot the next and final part of the film this August.
Thanks to everybody for your continued support. Enjoy the trailer, and stay tuned to see how you can help make Phase 2 a reality….
